From fragmented B&B to bold, cohesive city home
In this full renovation project, Studio JAAF reimagined a former B&B and private residence into one spacious, characterful family home. Located in Amsterdam’s De Pijp, the building first required structural interventions, including a full foundation renewal, before it could be reshaped from the ground up.
Every layer of the transformation was designed: from spatial flow and layout to custom furniture, finishes, lighting, and final styling including artwork selection. A spacious home office was added, circulation improved, and every material and colour palette carefully composed.
What once was a fragmented space is now a bold, cohesive home with a distinctive identity tailored to the people who live in it.
